MY STRATEGY FOR REMEMBERING WORDS

As we all know, when you are learning a new languague, is necessary to learn alot of vocabulary. And for this, a good option is to have a strategy for remebering words...this one is mine:

When I hear or read a word I don't know, the first what I do is to write it or highlight it. After I look for the meaning of that word in almost all the posible contexts, for this wordreference helps me. For example, teacher James has given us a lot of readings, and there are many new words in those readings, so I highlight the new words of a reading and after I make a list of those words. And in my freetime make a review of it.

And if I don't remember the exactly meaning of a word in a reading, I got it by context...that's what I do in a large reading, and of course, after I apply my strategy. Another strategy what I use is to watch tv sitcoms where I learn a lot of vocabulary and I soemtimes I remember some words by the actions I've watched in the sitcom.
