STRATEGIES TO TEACH NARRATIVE STORIES
Writing narratives stories, is an important part of writing composition. So, I as a future teacher, must how to teach this in a correct way. I suggest the next strategies
1. Telling a story and discuss about it:
For writing we have to got an idea. So as an example is recommendable to read to your students a story. In that way they can catch up the structure of a narrative essay.
2. Create a story by talking:
To active your student's creative. One person starts a random story, and another student follow it and so on. Between everyone creates a story, and after you explain that story has a structure, (introdcution, body, conclusion)
3. Read and fill a timeline:
You pass to your students a reading, after that they must to complete a timeline, ordering the events what happened in the story, and after make a feedback of this.
4. The uncompleted story:
You pass to your students a story with a uncompleted part, for example; the conclusion, they must to write the end. After they must share their endings and talk about the parts of that reading.
5. Videos:
There are a lot of videos explaining how to write a narrative essay. You can choose and show it to them, and make some questions about the video, so in that way they might can resolve doubts about the subject.
