Opinion: Teaching English to young learners in El Espinal.
By: Ana M. Sanchez and SANT (Santiago Valdez)
Altough it can be enjoyable teaching young learners in Espinal, Also can be frustatin and really demanding. Don't think badly, we love teaching but sometimes it gets difficult.
First, the basis young students is not good enough when they want to learn more about any subject and more when we speak about another language. As you probably know, the most important part of education is in preschool, that is, when they are very young and are laying the foundations of their lives. So, the idea here in El Espinal is not complete, their basic groundwork in English is not enough. If they get this base over time, the learning of these young students will improve.
Secondly, the social-cultural context is not encouraging the need of learn a new language. Here people just say "the english here is not necessary, i won't use it". This is a problem of perspective, people don't look toward future and don't see theirself using english and even don't see theirself practicing any languagefor example to travel or something. In this part we get a critic opstacle to pass but also as we wrote before we need to improve our young people English groundwork for their support in their life.
we can conclude that teaching in El Espinal it's a hard work but we will continue trying to give everything to make this better. With a lot in mind, what we can start doing is improving and giving our little ones a good foundation.
Thanks SANT for his collaboration :3
